The Best Cub Scout Pack in Bucks County

A family friendly program shaping young men and women into exemplary students and citizens who get better grades at school and go further in life than boys and girls who are not involved with scouting.

Meetings regularly on Thursday nights from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm aligning with the school year. Our Pack is open to boys and girls from all local schools: Bedminster Elementary, Deibler Elementary, Seylar Elementary, and others. Any K to 5th grade boy or girl from any school is welcome!

Proud of the scouts and families that camped the weekend in May at Hawk Mountain Boy Scout Reservation! We slept in Boy Scout canvas tents, ate “walking tacos”, played gaga ball, fished, hiked, watched a Raptors up close exhibit, told elaborate campfire stories, learned fire safety, but we think the most fun the scouts had was just playing around in the leaves, rocks, and forest! Can’t wait until the next adventure! ... See MoreSee Less

We had a great night last night learning all about fishing! Everyone caught fish, some BIG and some small. For some scouts it was their first time catching a fish! This is a memory that will last a lifetime! Special thanks to the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department for allowing us use of the grove and access to the pond! ... See MoreSee Less

The AOL den had their last meeting tonight at the church, a dress rehearsal for their crossover ceremony on Sunday. Bittersweet memories as they prepare to begin their journey as Boy Scouts. Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough Mr. Bryan Snyder and Mr. Brian McMullen for your unwavering dedication to this group of boys.

While our dens have been meeting virtually during the snowy weather, and continued pandemic, Mr. Snyder and Mr. Glenn (our dedicated Committee Chair and Cub Master) have been using their wood working skills to build a new bridge for our AOL crossover ceremony in a couple weeks! Cant wait for everyone to see it!

6:30pm - 2021 Pinewood Derby Car Weigh-ins and qualification tonight was a success. We had a few sibling and relatives “unlimited” class entries, a few hiccups with last minute adjustments to weight and wheels and a whole lot of graphite! Some fast looking cars were checked in so tomorrow’s race should be interesting! Good luck everyone! Pinewood Derby Race January 22nd at 6:30pm on zoom: Join Zoom Meeting

So many fun cars! Can't wait to watch

The Webelos Den had a special visitor tonight to help them earn their Aware and Care adventure. Mr. Gordon talked about the accident that paralyzed him, how it has affected his life, and how his optimistic attitude has helped him overcome challenges. He also showed us how he can drive his specially equipped van. Super Cool!! Thank you so much, Mr. Gordon!

Thank you Bryan Snyder for supplying the tools and equipment to help build the pinewood derby cars! Hopefully the scouts learned some basics of following rules, construction, safety, engineering and physics in regards to starting with a block of wood, cutting it to a specific design, weight placement, axle and wheel attributes, etc. More importantly, I think it was a great bonding experience with the adults and kids which will hopefully occur more often this spring!

If you did not attend the workshop or would like additional help or tips, please reach out to any of the leaders!

Good luck on the rest of your build and finishing - see you at weigh-ins!

Super helpful and great experience

That’s my son/ Eagle 🦅 Scout. Always proud.

The totals are in! Pack 196 collected 1/2 ton (roughly 1,100 lbs) of food during our Scouting For Food drive to benefit Dublin Food Pantry. They were OVERWHELMED by our donation, which filled the back of an SUV and a pickup truck!
Many, Many thanks to the Dublin residents who donated, the scouts who collected it all, and to our Cubmaster and Admin Assistant for delivering it to the pantry.

Thank you Point Pleasant - Plumsteadville EMS for coming out with the trucks, gear, and awesome crew to teach us some first aid and what to do in emergencies. The information will definitely be important for the Scouts for when we are outdoors camping and hiking and also while just being kids out playing! Thanks for all you do for the community and stay safe!
