The Best Cub Scout Pack in Bucks County

A family friendly program shaping young men and women into exemplary students and citizens who get better grades at school and go further in life than boys and girls who are not involved with scouting.

Meetings regularly on Thursday nights from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm aligning with the school year. Our Pack is open to boys and girls from all local schools: Bedminster Elementary, Deibler Elementary, Seylar Elementary, and others. Any K to 5th grade boy or girl from any school is welcome!

Pennridge Community Cub Scout Day was perfect for the boys and girls from 4 different Local Packs to come together and play Gaga ball, race pinewood derby cars, giant jenga and connect four games, ride the carousel, and play this block stacking game where the group needs to STOP…[Stop, Think, Observe, Plan], to stack the blocks on the red dot with only using communication and hold the ends of the rope! ... Becky’s Drive-In Movie Theater Camp-Out. What a great way to end the summer with camping and movies! The train and fire truck rides, pony rides, bounce house, and playground was a big hit for all the kids until dark. Setting up you tents and watching 2 movies under the stars with decent weather was great. It got a little cold 48degrees and a little damp, however no camp fires didn’t stop us from reheating pizza or staying warm! Looking forward to next year! Becky's Drive-In ... See MoreSee Less

FREE TICKETS*** Hope everyone is safe and done cleaning up from the storm yesterday. The Iron Pigs baseball team reached out to us with an opportunity TONIGHT 9/2/2021 with free tickets to a game and STEAM activity for the kids. Please let me know ASAP if you or others are interested. Tonight is STEAM Night which stands for (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Companies have been donating tickets for local students to attend and enjoy an educational pre-game experience, and then obviously enjoy the game after the fact. We will have a few interactive demonstrations in the plaza from 5-7pm followed by tonight’s game.
I have some tickets left to give away on a first come first serve basis, and I wanted to see if you or any of the families from your group would like to attend. Please let me know ASAP because I only have a limited amount. Brian Glenn (215)290-7921Image attachment

Iron Pigs Baseball - Campout 2021! What an awesome experience the scouts and families had to attend a baseball game as a group, participate in a Scout parade around the outfield and make their video on the big screen, and then conclude the game with fireworks. Instead of going home, the Scouts were able to set up tents and camp in the outfield of the stadium! They played games, ate popcorn and watch a movie on the big screen late through the night. No worries for raccoons or bears or animals to disturb them at night! It was a perfect summertime activity which everyone enjoyed and look forward to attending in the future! Way to go Pack 196 scouts!

Proud of the scouts and families that camped the weekend in May at Hawk Mountain Boy Scout Reservation! We slept in Boy Scout canvas tents, ate “walking tacos”, played gaga ball, fished, hiked, watched a Raptors up close exhibit, told elaborate campfire stories, learned fire safety, but we think the most fun the scouts had was just playing around in the leaves, rocks, and forest! Can’t wait until the next adventure! ... See MoreSee Less

We had a great night last night learning all about fishing! Everyone caught fish, some BIG and some small. For some scouts it was their first time catching a fish! This is a memory that will last a lifetime! Special thanks to the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department for allowing us use of the grove and access to the pond! ... See MoreSee Less

The AOL den had their last meeting tonight at the church, a dress rehearsal for their crossover ceremony on Sunday. Bittersweet memories as they prepare to begin their journey as Boy Scouts. Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough Mr. Bryan Snyder and Mr. Brian McMullen for your unwavering dedication to this group of boys.
