The Best Cub Scout Pack in Bucks County

A family friendly program shaping young men and women into exemplary students and citizens who get better grades at school and go further in life than boys and girls who are not involved with scouting.

Meetings regularly on Thursday nights from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm aligning with the school year. Our Pack is open to boys and girls from all local schools: Bedminster Elementary, Deibler Elementary, Seylar Elementary, and others. Any K to 5th grade boy or girl from any school is welcome!

At our March Pack meeting we awarded new ranks to 5 Bobcats, and 2 Bears! Every scout received awards for adventures completed as well. We’ve been very busy during the winter months.
Then we had a special presentation on Raptors: Birds of Prey. Thanks so much to Katie Martens from Delaware Canal State Park for sharing with us!

Great job! And nice choice of hike on the south shore - maybe we'll bring Da'Bears there for a shorter hike later this spring.

These boys kicked butt today and tackled more than just physical obstacles! Proud of my Webelos.

Looks like fun! Great day for it.

And we got to celebrate two birthdays! This was a great hike, thanks to Chris and Alyssa for organizing and leading.

Way to go Webelos!

Great job!!!

Outstanding!!

This years Blue & Gold banquet included our AOL and crossover ceremony. The Pack celebrates all 7 Scouts crossing over to a local Boy Scout Troop!
The Arrow of Light is both a rank and award and is the highest achievement in Cub Scouting, which is the only Cub award that can be worn in the BSA. The bridge highlights the scout law and also the 7 rays of the sun representing the 7 days of the week acting as a reminder that Scouts should do their best every day. We thank our leaders - Laura Glaudel and Jennifer Church as well as their parents and other leaders who have guided the Scouts, for they are better prepared for the adventures they will enjoy in Boy Scouts on their way to Eagle!

Nice to see Pack 196 still going strong!

Pack 196 take over @ Doylestown Rock Gym aka Adventure Center Inc.! This was our winter CAMP-IN where the Scouts climbed Friday night and Saturday morning and were able to sleep-over in the gym. Parents and leaders were taught how to safely belay climbers which created more trust and bonding among the Pack! Thanks for hosting us and looking forward to more climbing! ... See MoreSee Less

Den leader Mr Haber was the second chosen! 3years in a row! His scouts must love him 🤣

Den leader Mr Koenig volunteered to take on for the team! Shaved head does make for easier clean up 😂

Cubmaster Glenn our first selected leader to get a pie!

It was a beautiful sunday HIKE and adventure at Ringing Rocks today! Over 20 scouts gathered in buddy groups, hiked exactly 1 mile, took a couple breaks to stop and actually take in the scenery and nature, observed water flowing over Bucks County’s tallest waterfall ~15ft, and then explored the boulder field with hammers making music. We enjoyed a snack and lunch out in the boulders and made sure to pack out everything we brought in. The weather was perfect and the scouts and siblings did a fantastic job at following the rules, being safe, and hopefully having fun! Our new blaze orange sweatshirts made it easy to know where people were! ... See MoreSee Less

Cub Scout Pack 196 brings over 75 family and friends to the Phantom’s game for Scout night! We enjoyed the parade on the ice and a lucky 4 got to ride on the Fanboni! Even though it was fun watching the Phantoms win, the experience the Scouts enjoyed was even better!
